Hello Nevaland; Look at the following attachments, they are extracted from the manual "Bus Links: DP/PA link and Y-link". The first one shows the architecture schematic, as requested. The second one shows the required hardware to build a Y-Link. The Y-link is a master on the downstrean Profibus side, and is strictly limited to 244 Bytes IN/244 Bytes OUT; check out the data from the manual, you should understand it well before you start designinig your project.
