Dear All, We have a problem with a DP/PA-Link with 4 DP/PA-Couplers. We have 4 separate lines connected to each coupler. The problem is, when all couplers are energized, we can onlyreach the instruments from 1st and 2nd coupler. Devices from 3th and 4th couplers can not be reached. Only the 2th couplers ACT led is flashing. When the 2th coupler is switched off, ACT led of the 1th coupler starts flashing, like theyhave been configured as ring. We are also sure with connections off all lines, because when we connect each line one by one to the 2th coupler, we can reach all the devices of that line. Only the IM153s addresses are adjusted. All couplers addresses are not adjusted, since they should be transparent. Busmodules for couplers are as follows; 6ES7195-7HG80-0XA0 Left + Right + Left + Right Should we change the busmodules to 6ES7195-7HF80-0XA0 ? Is there any setting for DP/PA Coupler for ring connectionor single line connectionor is it automatically detected by the IM according to busmodules? Please take a look at the attached images.
