why you need make this system, you need change pointer location? I see this pretty simple with 2 DB definition with array of BYTE type and use them on DP_SEND/DP_RECV. Before all I'll be set that bits as states to DB memory without problems. Give pls info, you need only bool states?

I use 'bool'/'word' in DB, becouse very simple work with such DB in CFC, when i need to write 'bool' var to DB like on the picture (Channel driver->DB in CFC).

So, can i use this pointer in SCL in this situation?:

probably think that sending/receiving can be done via buffer with BYTE type, so probably I'll be start think from this for first, therefore I've recommend to you simply prepare data from your areas and then simply put them with BYTE order to SEND buffer. Hope I good understand you 'moj drug'.

I've used this simple system like on attachment, nothing special with pointers, simply prepare DBs for I/O area to be enough for me and use data from DP as need, in this case f.ex. start motor as state from DP Slave status of DI. On Picture are pieces of code together, simply I had them inside different SCL sources. Hope that this simple example can help you much better.
