Hello Licht, The DP_Send is only used in combination with a CP342-5. The DPWR_DAT is necessary to transfer consistand data to a module with 3 or more as 5 Byte data. Have a look at the following manuals for details: S7-CPs for PROFIBUS Configuring and Commissioning Automation System S7-400 CPU Specifications Best regards Sabine |

Hello Licht No you can NOT, you MUST use DP_SEND for a CP342-5 and below are a couple of FAQ's which have moreuseful info on this subject: What are the differences between an integrated DP interface of my CPU (e.g. CPU 315-2 DP) and the DP interface of the CP 342-5? What should you watch out for when configuring a CP342-5 as DP master? I hope this helps |
