Hello Artur; Here are your possibilities: 1) In a multimaster network, a Profibus-DP slave can be owned only by one Profibus master, especially for write operations. That is, 2 masters cannot write to the same slave. But under certain circumstances 2 masters can read the info from the slave, see the following FAQ: Reading the input data of a DP slave configured by a different DP master 2) UsingS7-connections and Profibus CP 342-5, 2 DP masters can exchange data between them. Note that this cannot be done using the integrated Profibus ports on the CPUs: See the following programming examples, from the Simatic Net Quick Start CD: 3) Instead of Profibus CPs, you could setup a DP/DP coupler between the 2 CPUs, as a slave on both their networks. This is relatively inexpensive and an easy way to setup comms between 2 DP masters. |
