Users are encouraged to read the manuals to not get confused and to not pay for something they do not need.

Dear jacek d, I would agree with you but it would be logical if all modules DI/DO/AI/AO etc. were released in each series Basic (BA) Standard (ST) High Feature (HF) High Speed (HS) then it would be logical but it is not like that I repeat for example why DI 16 x 24 V DC ST (6ES7131-6BH01-0BA0) only available ST (no BA), BUT DQ 16 x 24 V DC/0.5 available ST and BA.... about the price, could you tell me what the difference is (approximately) between DQ 16 x 24 V DC/0.5 A BA 6ES7132-6BH00-0AA0 - DQ 16 x 24 V DC/0.5 A ST 6ES7132-6BH01-0BA0 - unfortunately catalog CA01 2018 does not have these prices....

The price (list price in germany, without discount) is DQ 16 x 24 V DC/0.5 A BA (6ES7132-6BH00-0AA0) - 84,80 Euro DQ 16 x 24 V DC/0.5 A ST (6ES7132-6BH01-0BA0) - 88,20 Euro regards CaOd O!!! difference 4 Euro, it's nothing!! there is nothing to discuss, for myself, I realized that I did not need to use DQ 16 x 24 V DC/0.5 A BA ... Only (at least) ST...
