Perhaps there is a kind of WinCC condition function, or is it to solve like a vbs? ...SteIns

If the camerais above the monitor, a Bit in the PLC should be set and the camera jumps to the home position. I know that it could easier solved, like a button which set the Bit, but the customer want this soloution... ...SteIns

You can move objects around the screen by placing them in a PictureWindow and setting the Movable property to TRUE. You could have an event or cyclic script that detects the X & Y position of the PictureWindow and when it reaches a certain point it can set the bit in the PLC. However I would double-check with your customer WHY he needs this? It doesn't sound like a typical SCADA functionality as Nemo says. Is this what you want?

[:(] This should become a Video intrusion on 5 Monitors.On every Monitor you can display 4 cameras. You have about 170 cameras!! If you will implement this with buttonsin a popup the user who work with this won't be satisfied!! Thats why i want that the user can move a camera into right quarter of a monitor. ...SteIns

A picturewindow object is indeed restricted to the PDL it is placed in. However if you place the camera picturewindow on your start screen and place it on layer 31 then it can be moved across all windows. However I think that the above suggestion is no good for you. I think you have to tell your customer no for this request. Maybe you can rethink the whole setup of your project?

Salma Gold Member Joined: 9/27/2005 Last visit: 11/27/2007 Posts: 1398 Rating: (149)	In WinCC runtime, you can only ever have one window opened full screen - let us call it MAIN.PDL. To show other windows you need to use PictureWindow objects on MAIN.PDL. If you place your camera object on MAIN.PDL it can be moved to any X or Y position. However you must place it onthe highest layer ( i.e. layer 31 )to ensure that it is always on top of other objects. If you place your camera object on a window that is shown in a PictureWindow on MAIN.PDL then it cannot be moved to any X or Y position. Does this answer your question? If not, just let us know.
