Drive:Brake control error 40

Posts: 153 Rating: (7)	Hello Experts, Do anybody have experienced about Brake Control Error status 40 in Sinamics S120 CU320-2PN I have to use Safe brake control with Brake diagnostic evaluation When I am running motor brake without diagnostic evaluation its running fine but as i am connecting it with diagnostic evaluation its tripping immediately on brake cntrol error 40. I have checked the Cable is connected as per standard connections. This Cable is standard SIemens cable with Brake connection inclution. Its same for 6 Motor modules booksize. Same brake control I am using in small rating drive and working fine. Can Any one suggest the answer TIA

Technology Team Platinum Expert Joined: 10/11/2006 Last visit: 10/9/2024 Posts: 5910 Rating: (808)	Hello Soni, please check the correct shield connection, both, the outer shield of the motor cable as well as the inner shiled of the brake wires must be connected with the shield plate. A second check could be the 24V supply voltage, maybe it is to weak? If you your problem persits, we would recommend to contact the customer support additional to asking in the forum.
