Drive doesn't move when trying to control using the control panel.

Hello,
I have a double motor module (6SL3120-2TE13-0ADx) connected to a control unit (6SL3040-1MA01-0Axx).

I am trying to control the motor using the control panel. When I "Enable" the drive and press the Forward button, I get no error but the motor doesn't move.
I have set the velocity as 50 mm/s.

Please help me to make the motor move.

The infeed signal is okay. I checked it and r2 has [0] - everything enabled.
It is possible for me to enable te drive. When I press the button "Forward" or "backward", the position doesn't change. I get no error either.

so you are controlling via axis control panel of the Technology object right? Did you try the control panel of the drive directly? Does that work?

Does the drive or the TO give any error / fault message?

Yes, I am operating with positioning moe with EPOS.
No, I do not get any error whatsoever.
I can  Enable the drive and I was able to set the home position as well.

I have attached the screenshot of "Status and Error bits".

No, I am trying on the control panel itself. It doesn't move.
I am using ProfiSafe telegram 30, Siemens telegram 105 and 701.

i think Epos and TO Axis can't work .

 Hi!
I checked using the control panel and it is the same. I enabled the drive and set the rpm as 50 and clicked on Jog Forward. THe speed of the motor was 0. It didnot move. After a few seconds I got an error 7900 "motor blocked or speed controller at limits".

The drive is not connected to the load so it is free to move. It is not blocked.
I think it is some parameter error. I have set the effective torque as 5.24 Nm.

I have the same drives on another CU whose torque limit is 5.24 NM as well and it works without any problem.

PLease help.

Hello,

you use the axis control panel!

there are two control panels in tia!

one for technology object axis and on directly in the drive.

so please go to the drive and check that the control panel work corectly for the drive.

and the telegramconfig can not match if you really use EPOS mode in the drive!

I think there is some parameterization issue. Maybe a bad mixture of EPOS and TO usage. I don't know. Probably it is the best to delete the drive and recommission it - if you use the TO of the PLC do NOT activate the EPOS!

Maybe you can post your TIA Project so we could have a look at the parameterization.
