Do you have any feedback coming from the motor ? In this case you need to count the pulses coming from encoder

Yes I saw it thank you, in my case i want to have position without an encoder just not like the example of the servo motor just using object technology

 You don't need an encoder, the caution was only if you did.

Without an encoder, the function acts open loop and assumes that when it is given a pulse, it will move exactly x degrees or mm if configured as a linear axis.
