During online sf/bf flashing

Dear Experts,

I have a machine with 5 nodes. all the CPU's and some drives are connected through profibus.

When I try to go online with the CPU's through PG adaptor cable, the sf/bf flashing form 1 sec and communication lost message appear on my PG. I cannot go online with the PLC. But when I remove the profibus connector from CPU and directly go online through PG adaptor, it is communicating. What could be the reason when I try to go online thorugh profibus?

Please clear following points.

1. 5 nodes-All CPU- some Drives are connected through profibus.

 What do you mean? 5 CPU? 1CPU & 4 drives? 

2. When remove profibus connector, PG communicates. 

Which profibus connector you remove.

Please provide clear information along with PLC CPU & drive MLFB & how they are configured or their hardware connection.

How you are connecting the adapter cable to PROFIBUS connection. If all nodes are already connected,you should use either of the connectors below attached on one of the nodes and then you have to connect your adapter there. PG/PC interface need to be set properly too.

Few times ago same problem I faced,when ever I plug adapter on profibus node all communication breakdown,

(Metalizer machine)

During that time I had set PG/PC as default for profibus.

Problem still not solve.

I am explaining more. I have 5 nodes and parker 890ssd Drives as well. These 5 nodes have CPU's. All are same type of CPU's (CPU 315-2 PN/DP).

I connect the the PD thorugh profibus connector and it is not communicating and the Cpu goes to SF/Bf and alarm appears on the PG (Connection lost). But when I removed the profibus connector and cable from CPU and directly connect the PG wth the CPU it is communicating. While showing error thorugh profibus connector I couldn't go online that's why I cannot check in the buffer of CPU. But the error shows for 1 sec.

profibus address is correct one. The machine is running there is no problem with the machine but my issue while I try to communicate with the PG, this happens.

I check the PC adaptor address. it is not conflict with the address of others.

Ok. Please check the terminator resistor position at that profibus connector. Is it OFF or ON?

Have you checked if any connector hasn't loosen inside? I mean unscrew them and check cables connection 

 Additionally Pl check that :

1. Terminator Switch is ON , on the CPU End.

2. Profibus Terminating Resistors are in place at the Last Parker Drive in Network ( Where cable ends )
