The TIA Portal products STEP 7 (including PLCSIM), Safety, WinCC, SIMATIC Energy Suite, SiVArc, Startdrive, SIMOCODE ES and Softstarter ES must be upgraded to the same version (V14 SP1).

Therefore, please make sure you have the service packs of the products you are using before starting the installation. You can find the service packs in the following entries:

Important information:

When installing the various TIA Portal products and options, ensure that you use the same versions of service packs for the installation. For example, if you have installed SP1 for STEP 7 V14, you must also install SP1 for WinCC V14. Service packs must be installed at the same time for all products. Do not start the TIA Portal until you have upgraded all products.

Please note that not all TIA Portal V14 SP1 products are available concurrently.

Probably Step 7 contains WinCC Basic, but I guess WinCC does not contain Step 7. To be sure, download both required packages Step 7 and WinCC before starting installation.

The STEP7 v14sp1 update 10 downlaod has WinCC Basic included.

The WinCC Comfort/Advanced v14sp1 download shown in your post are not compatible.

VERY annoying. I spent a day just trying to first install TIA and then WinCC Comfort.
They are both v14sp1, but the update-10 thing makes them incompatible.
Furthermore, I cannot find STEP7 v14sp1 without the update-10, and also cannot find WinCC Comfort v14sp1 with the update-10...

I wrote a support request just now, but I've already wasted several hours trying to get WinCC Comfort up and running :(
