Greetings. Is it possible to get an angled fill lineusing the dynamic fill properties? I can fill an object (no matter what it's shape) from bottomto top, but I am trying to fill something at an angle e.g. filling a rhombus or diamond shape parallel to a non-horizontal side. |

If you don't mind a simple "left to right" fill then you can do the following : Draw a Smart Object -> Bar on the screen Set the Axis and Line Weight property to 0 Draw a polygon over the top of the bar to shape it into your required shape Set the polygon background colour to the picture colour and set the Line Width to 0 This will then give the effect of a shape filling. I have attached my example, done in V6 SP4. Another way would be to draw the object twice, with two different colours, and have a script that resizes the second object to create a fill effect. You could do this with a polygon but it would involve some pretty tricky scripting. Attachmentfilling.zip (384 Downloads) |

Hi Salma. Thanks for the ideas. I thought about bar graphs, but I was looking for angles other than 0 or 90. I may resort to moving the 'fill shape' behinda framed area, and mask off the overflow. [:P] |
