Hi All, I am trying to achieve a functionality that dynamically updates the screen path in WinCC unified MTP 1500 HMI - V17. For eg: as we have in our windows system - when we go from c drive to a different folder it updates automatically the path or file location. I am trying to achieve similar on the HMI. Thanks. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Please post twice for the same problem. And please don't post different questions with the topic title. |

Hi, Although you can arrange the screens within the WinCC Unified Engineering System into different and nested groups, this is not related to a screen path and therefore this information is not accessible within the runtime system. The window/screen object hierarchy is similar to a file system path, but since WinCC Unified uses a screen-in-screen approach, there will not be a single "path". Getting this hierarchy will be possible through recursive use of the Parent property. But to be honest, I am not sure if this will work in V17. Kind regards |
