E55 error message while read data metering OMNI 32-bit register

Dear All

Iuse CP341 RS232 to read the OMNI data. the communication is TCP/IP base, so i us MOXA (modbus converter from serial to TCP) to read the data. i success to read binary register and 16-bit register, but error in reading 32-bit register. The error is E55 in Block send. Anybody can help me to solve this problem ?

The byte counter received in the reply message is wrong.

Check slave device.

One reason I can presume for this is that there are no 32-bit values in the standard Modbus RTU implementation, only 16-bit registers (Holding Registers or Input registers).
DINT or floating-point values are transfered as 2 consecutive registers, and manipulated by the reciever to access the original value. So if you are requesting 4 bytes for a single register value, you are commiting an error that the master refuses.
