Hello,

Current I have a central S7-1200 CPU that gather & exchange Data with several remote S7-1200 CPUs and as you know the S7-1200 has a maximum 8 open user communication.

I want to expand the capabilities of the central CPU, so i'm thinking to purchase S7-1500 with CP 1543-1 to be at the central location where it can exchange data with several remote 1200 CPUs, so my questions:

1- Can the S7-1500 with CP 1543-1 can communicate with CP 1243-1 that will also added to the S7-1200 CPUs?

2- if point answer is yes, does the protocol used is open user communication?

3- in general, the CP 1543-1 will collect & exchange data with many CPs 1243-1, so how many 1243-1 CPs can the 1543-1 connect?

4- Do the gathered data at the CP 1543-1 can be viewed by WinCC RT? or siply can be saved at DB within the CPU 1500?
