edit an instance data block

You have to enter a "0" at IN-Parameter, the count of data you want to fill and the target adress, where you want to start. But I'm not quiet sure, if that instruction only works at an array or struct. But I think you can try it easily. regards

femo Advanced Member Joined: 10/16/2010 Last visit: 11/28/2023 Posts: 63 Rating: (0)	I tried already, but didn`t work, because the DB I want to modify is related to a FB so I can't disable the option SYMBOLIC ACCES ONLY from the attributes of the DB. If I generate a DB from scratch, yes I can use that instruction because I can take out the option SYMBOLIC ACCESS and be able to modify it. Thanks

hbrianjr Posts: 13 Rating: (4)	Hi femo, if the FB is one that you created, you can specify that a non-symbolic instance DB be used. See the attached screenshot that shows when youcreate a new FB, you uncheck the box "Symbolic access only". This will create a non-symbolic DB when you instantiate the FB in your program.
