The language should be changed according to the selected device language, but there have been some bugs in the past regarding language settings for system dialogs. As far as I remember, the language has to be configured in TIA Portal before the device is added to the configuration. But V17 was a long time ago, so I can't say for sure. Kind regards Stefan
