I think you should read the following overview. Overview of the LAD elements Some instructions just can be contact such as comparators.They only has some effect on RLO.For functions developed by us or more complex instructions(Math function) you can think of such mechanism because trouble-free process of instruction is important.From information point of view, result of a comparison is TRUE or FALSE .No thing more.If you have snapshots of comparators with EN/ENO in older TIA versions, upload it here.

Hello, For enabling and disabling EN/ENO option in TIA V12,Please check: Enabling and disabling the EN/ENO mechanism I don't have the newer version of TIA Portal to test but I think that it is not possible to have EN/ENO options here on IEC Timers.Test and update.About the library you are missing, if you edit a program for an S7 300/400, you can find them in category of extended instructions.
