Hi all,

I am using a Position axis technology bock with TIAv15.1 and CPU 1510 3pn and S110 drive.

I have selected encode as "mounted on motor side" and the software limit in the technology block as "-100 mm to +100 mm"

The motor with go over 100 (approx 100.20) and then stop which will give an error of software limit reached . Error code 534 (this error only comes when you go over SW limits) 

When I change the encode mounting to "mounted on load side it works fine , it stops exactly at 100 mm and does not go over it.(but there are other issue associated with mounting at load side and I cannot use mounting at load side)

any idea why the measurement goes over software limit when I use encoder mounting at motor side,

Please feel free to ask any clarification.

reduce your Dynamic limits to suitable values.

I guess Max acceleration/deceleration of 10000 is too, high.
