molendijkm Posts: 15 Rating: (0)	Hello, im brand new to Logo!. I have written a program that must convert a encoder input to mm. But the mathmetic instruction i have now must be switch a couple outputs. I dont know how to do that. can i count the mm (output mathmetic) to a counter or something? See attachment for what i mean. You did not write: - How quickly do the impulses come? - What is the value of an impulse? - How many impulses come over the entire distance? If I interpret your formula correctly, an impulse has a valence of 0.4932 mm, which roughly corresponds to a multiplication factor of 0.5. The math instruction can only work with values up to 32,767 on referenced inputs. In other words: If values come from the counter greater than 32,767, LSC limits the value to 32,767. 32,767 * 0.4932 = 16160.6844. Rounded = 16161.

molendijkm Posts: 15 Rating: (0)	You have it right! Your calculation is exatly have it is. then i need to look how i can solve this because i need to go to +/- 25000mm to cut. Maybe something with a second counter for 1Mtr and then reset the mm. Thank you
