Enlarge the acknowledge button in alarm view

HugoD Posts: 439 Rating: (112)	Hello, I have been asked to enlarge the acknowledge button in the alarm view of the "Global screen" of a KTP400 basic panel. I've tried by right-clicking on the alarm view object and selecting "edit", but I am only able to modify the width of the column or the position of them. I have also tried to create a new "Style", but I get the same properties. At this point, I think it is not possible, but maybe you can help me. Does anybody have an idea? Best regards, HugoD

Best regards, HugoD There is nothing you can do to make that button bigger. The function of that button cannot be ported to a user button either. We are stuck with what you see there. I use the back side of a click-pen or 4mm Allen-key.

Prof. Frink is it an option to hide the button in the Alarm control and use a separate button with System Function "AlarmViewAcknowledgeAlarm" instead? Yes, I thought the same thing, but the "Alarm view" is from the "Global screen". The alarm view object will appear on top of any other object when an alarm appear. You would have to find a way to play with visibility of the button when the alarm view appear. There is no "Function" possible for the alarm view and I can't find a way to start a "Scheduled task" when alarm view appear. I think I am stuck and there is no solution. If you use one of the Buttons then you can use the Systemfunction to acknowledge the Alarm also. Bye Murof

SIMATIC HMI Label Creator: individual labels for HMI devices and Panel PC systems If you ever come close the a developer I think it would be a nice adjustment. Have a good one! Best regards, HugoD
