Enter & Visualization the multiple line String in i/o field

i am using TIA v13 with tp1200 comfort hmi panel. in this our customer requirement is string PLC Tag entry  should be multiple line as well as visualization also. kindly sent the sample project. helpful for me.

I don't understand what you mean with multiple lines in the string from PLC.

How are the lines seperated? Some special character?

Actually my string length is 256 character (PLC Wstring Tag) and i am using a 7 inch HMI, so the display entry is not possible to see all data in 1 line .

So please tell how can i see and entry  the same in runtime  in multi lines.

I don't know if it works, but this might be a possibility:

• We know it's possible to show a string in multiple lines when using a symbolic I/O-filed connected to a text list and configured as "Output".
• The text in the text lists needs to contain a line break special character.
• We can dynamize text lists - so you can get a string from the PLC, put it into a text list and display the value of the PLC tag:
  • "How do you create dynamic text lists in WinCC (TIA Portal)?"

• The question is weather you can save the string in the PLC with the needed special characters and how. "/n" or ASCII characters connected with &?

The other way would be to slice the string up into smaller strings (using the PLC or an HMI VB-Script). You could use an arry of string, maybe? Then you write into more than one I/O-field (and don't show the borders, so it looks like one block).
