Eprom Data Acquisition

we are using cp524 for data transfer to operational panel as PC. unfortunately we faced a problem in data monitoring right know it seems there is a connection issue between PC and PLC. we tried different solution for eliminating a problem but it is still persistent.

Eventually we tried to check the safety of EPROM which is connected to the CP 524.so we used PG740 PLLL for acquiring data  from EPROM but it shows "submodule content invalid" message!!!!while we connect CPU EPROM to the system we can easily take the content from EPROM without any fault.(the used software for getting back up is SIEMENS S5 PACKAGE).we tried the mentioned procdure also for wf470 EPROM and it didnt work to. so it seems data downloading is only possible for CPU Eprom but not applicable for WF470 or CP EPROMs.

can you suggest any particular software or solution for data acquisition from these EPROMs?

to read or program a CP524 EPROM you need COM525 / PROM525.

you mean this PG (740 PLL) and software is not applicable for CP EPROM or WF470 EPROM?

so how it is properly works for CPU?

is it necessary only use PG 685 programmer for this purpose as it is shown in attached file???

would you please say me is com 525 programming software and haw can I provide it?

if yes can i install this software on PG 740 PLLL and is there any procedure for that?
