Error code 0x66, function 0x3e dusring MP377 OS Update

SomsakC Regular Member Joined: 12/22/2011 Last visit: 12/26/2024 Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	My 1st problem comes from MP377 cannot recognize 256 MB MMC card (MP377 with OS V1.0.4.0) . I have try to upgrade OS to V1.0.4.13 or even 1.0.5.0 but MP377 still cannot recognize MMC card. then Siemens service and support advises me to upgrade OS to at least V1.0.4.10 but the most important is that I must activate factory reset also. During OS update with this factory reset activated, I have got error 0x66 function 0x3e. And the download from Prosave stops, MP377 stuck on "Formatting data partition". Tweety Posts: 3037 Rating: (192)	Hello, You should use a "crossed" Ethernet cable(direct connection)for connection between your computer and your MP377. You can find more information abaut Reset to factorysettingsin the chapter 1.3 in the manual two in the following FAQ. How do you do an operating system update (OS update) on operator panels? What settings do you have to make on an MP 377 to reset the operator panel to the factory settings? Tweety

And I have got the new stituation, MP377 stuck on waiting the update and my Prosave is trying to connect to MP377. It looks like my PC cannot communicate to MP377 over MAC address, do I need to set anything special?

Tweety Posts: 3037 Rating: (192)	Hello, You need for Prosave the IP Address and the MAC Addressof your MP377. You must change the PC/PGInterfaceto the Ethernetcard of your computer. But anyway after upgrade the OS to either update 10 or 13. MP377 still cannot read the 256 MMC card. So now I have to downgrade to V1.0.4.0 as before and take the old 128 MB CF card to be used instead of MMC and it is working. Is there anything to do between standard MMC and MMC plus? Because I am now using MMCplus card.
