Error in using User Archive.

patel_div Posts: 15 Rating: (0)	Hi everybody. I have a problem will using User Archive in WinCC V6.2. I have a fresh copy of Wincc V6.2 installed in my pc. All other projects except the project in which i have selected "User Archive" Option in Computer option in Wincc explorer works fine. I created a new project with only one graphic page and no user archives in it as shown in PIC:-01 and PIC:-02. Please refer to the attachment. This project can be put to runtime and can be stop if i have not select "User Archive" Option. Once i select the this option as shown in PIC:-03 and try to put it in runtime, the project hangs up with an error message as shown in PIC:-04. Then i have to make it off by "Task Manager". If now i try to open the same project error report as shown in PIC:-05 appears. And i m not able toopen the project again. Can anybody help me. Thanks in advance. Patel Divyang. I thought the reason isa missing windows component "message queuing". I have deactivated "message queuing" but i can't get the error. Is it possible to replicate this error on an other machine with user archives?

LuchoDD Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	I´m having the same error. The Component "Message Queue Server" is correctly installed...OK License for user archives is... OK SQL server (WINCC),running (and the only one runnying)....OK Any other suggestion of what could be the problem? Thanks

sdr Posts: 18 Rating: (0)	Hi Pls check User archive license. if u dont have the license then u will face same problem. it will not allow to go in Runtime mode. one more suggestion i would like to give u that if u have the 6.0 version software, try to do in that. Deselect that user archive option. then try to go in run mode. if it is not going in run mode it means u need license for user archive. Thanks and Regards Sdr

dilipan chakravarthy Posts: 12 Rating: (0)	i am also facing the same problem in wincc user archive without wincc user archive system wincc is going to run time we also have license but still we are facing the same problem with wincc v6.0 we have not faced such problem regards dilipan

Palmerita Posts: 102 Rating: (11)	Hi Dilipan!!! Try to runthe apDiag. Usually is located in: C:\ProgramFiles\Siemens\WinCC\uTools and see if it gives some kind of error You should also check that the message queuing from windows is correctly installed
