Error install windows IPC847C

Hello

I get PC Machine  (SIMATIC IPC 847C) order code (6AG4114-1NC31-2EX6)

when I want to reinstall windows 7 Ultimate on it  , after format and machine startup attached error message is appear .

please if you can help me to solve this issue ......

did you install the Windows operating system with the original DVD from Siemens or did you install it from a generic Windows DVD from Microsoft?

If you don't use the original DVD from Siemens, you may need additional drivers for some hardware components of your IPC to make your Windows operating system work properly.

If you use the original DVD from Siemens, all necessary hardware drivers are already included, and this Error Message may indicate some other problem (hardware? power supply? damaged DVD?, ...).

The SIMATIC devices should be comes with original DVD with is linked the serial number of the SIMATIC PC,

if your DVD is original and the same message comes that means your DVD is damaged and you have to contact with Siemens supplier to arrange a new one

when i want to reinstall windows 7 on Siemens PC  IPC847C (6AG4114-1NP32-2EX6)  

error message appear (BOOTMGR is missing Press Ctrl+Alt+Del) ..

when i insert attached DVDs and restart PC the same message appears  again ...

so please i need your help to reinstall windows 7 on this PC ....

Hello,

if you need to boot from CD please press F12 on the Startup of the IPC.

Then in the Bootmenu select the CD/DVD Drive to boot from the DVD.

I insert Restore  DVD and restart IPC , and follow your steps select DVD drive and made below steps:   

- windows  loading files

- and then i select language English

- then attached window shown, i select first option (Restore complete system disk)

- then warning message (all data on media HD1 will get lost ) i pressed OK

- and then (warning : all authorization / licence keys on the target drive will get lost ) i pressed OK 

- after some minutes error message appear (Restore has finished ImageX Error = 2 = WIMGAPI failure (image file may be corrupted) and i press OK then back again to attached window . 

so please how i can solve this ????

try the second entry (System partition)

The WIMGAPI Error can have 2 possible causes:

defective DVD (Ist this a new one or a older one ?)
DVD Drive can't read the Disc , have you another DVD Drive to check this?

You can also create a USB Restore media.

Insert the restore DVD in a DVD Drive and open it in Windows Explorer.

There should be a directory "WindowsTools" and here the program "CreateRestoreDrive.exe".
Whit this program you can create a Restore USB Stick which can be used for the IPC Restore.
