Hello!

I am trying to move my licenses from my Virtual Machine (VMware, Win XP) to my PC (Win 7) but when i try i get this error. (See pic)

I am able to move my S7 Distributed safety key between the virtual and normal pc.

Are you able to Move the Licenses back to the License Key USB/Floppy disk?

 I dont have the USB with me so i have not been able to test that.

What is the type of license?

Single or Floating?

 1 floating, 3 Single. 

The Singles types are the ones i have trouble moving, guessing that its made to be difficult  to move those.

I have found a external harddrive, to that drive i can transfer the licenses in VMware. But i cannot see the licenses when i connect the harddrive in the normal windows environment

  Yes you are right, the single licence is meant to use in only one computer for an unlimited period, So that   cannot be moved to another computer.

  Look into the attached document for more information about types of licenses.

Are you sure about single licence cannot be moved ? I don't think so.if I want to change my PC what should I do then ?

In floating license we will get network sharing option.Apart from that any difference ?

Or make hidden folder visible in PC via folder option,open the license saved drive via window explorer, cut n paste license folder to USB, then USB to your another PC ...

There will be AX FF.... folder which contains license file..

Today i tried the same, but after cut paste also license is not showing in ALM. Lets wait for the procedure to take single license to another PC..
