Hello, when trying to launch ‘WinCC Unified RT’ from Unified HMI, when I enter my UMC user credential, I get the following error message: The validation of the parameter 'service' failed. This message is documented in section 3.1 of document 109780337. I followed all the indications from section 4.2, which mention to add Unified HMi url to whitelist, and I am still getting the error. Any others clues on how to solve that? Help is appreciated |

Hi Franck1234, About this type of error I think you should go deeper by following the 'Trace Viewer' to see possible reasons why it is jumping the problem because it can be for different reasons. In a similar case I found with this same message, I could see that the Unified website addressing needs to be consistent with the WinCC Unified Configuration (either device name or ip address + AD domain if configured). In the User Management Settings of SIMATIC Runtime Manager the AD Domain also needs to be added to the umc server address. With this change in the case I saw, the problem with this message could be solved but I think it would have to be checked on a case by case basis.
