Error when converting from S5 to S7

taday85 Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Dear Friends, This is the first time i did this work. And S5 PLC use the SINEC L2 communications,CP 524,IM308 Please give me some advices to solve this problem! I attached with error's picture. Thanks in advance! Attachment error convert s5 to s7.zip (39 Downloads)

In Step7 side, you can read the manual that would best answer your questions is called STEP 7 - Configuring Hardware with STEP 7. Chapter 3 describes in detail all the steps for configuring a DP network in Step 7, through the HardwareConfig editor. You could find this manual in installed Siemens directory in Documentation. regards

But, as you see the picture's error, when the old S5 use the (CP 524 equality CP 441-1)andI configured the CP 441-1 in hardware config but when i use "S5 converting files" havemessage bellow: SIMATICS5SIMATIC S7 FB 120-SENDnot available FB 121-RECEIVEnot available FB 122-FETCH not available FB123- CONTROL not available FB124- RESET not available FB125- SYNCHRON not available FB126-SEND-A not available FB127-REC-Anot available I still start converting this file .S5DandwhenI compile the .awl which have 101 error, it can't compile I know that, this function block is the function use for module CP 524, but howI can solve this problem? Into Step7 these blocs didn't have analog and you saw this. Even informations which you could take from these blocks (in step5) like DBs isn't be useful in Step7. Basically this converting tool is using only to prepare structure of the program in Step7. And all necessaries things, you should fix after. These things include question - how to prepare communication using Step7' hardware and software. Fortunately here in this forum you could find a lot of exaples depend chose hardware.
