Error when trying to create a tag in WinCC (TIA)

Hello guys,

I've been using TIA portal V13 SP1 (both PLC and HMI programming) for a while now without any significant problems. Today, though, completely out of the blue I got a specific error when I was trying to create a tag (connected with a PLC tag) in WinCC.

Initially, I thought that it might be some kind of error in my complicated PLC code. So, I created a dummy project with just one DB and tried to do the same. The exact same error appeared when I clicked on the DB name.

I have attached a screenshot of the error.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I have absolutely the same problem. 

Before about a month I faced the same error when I tried to connect my tag.

First I repaired the TIA Portal, WIN CC, STEP 7 Professional. It didn't help and then I uninstalled and installed everything. After that there weren't any problems, until today.

Now I am with the same error, you can see it on the picture.

My OS is Windows 8.1.

I have no idea what the problem is and I will be thankful to any suggestions.

I installed the update 2 and now everything is OK.
