I’m working on old project with TIA V13.1 SP2 Up4 and TP1200 Comfort.

My laptop runs W10 2004.

When compile the HMI I get these two error messages:

Internal ERROR (detail: subprocessing GeneratorDiagBufTextProvider failed – object type: CONNECTION_HATCH).

Internal ERROR (detail: Error accessing COM service - Simatic Event Database. Please check the installation! – object type: DIAGBUFTEXTPROVIDER).

Tried to:

Remove IM folder and compile again

Remove connection with PLC, compile then create again

Downgrade HMI to v13.0

Uninstall WinCC V13 and reinstall

All these points give no benefit.

I have other projects in TIA V13 and I get no error when compile

This project gives no error on other laptop with same SW and OS.

Can someone help me understand a possible reason and solution?

first step was to repair TIA

second i removed just Wincc 13 and reinstall

last i removed the whole TIA V13 and reinstall

Nothing help.

The issue comes out only with a "family of project", the customer gave us a "master project" so i have template, script, receipt and other stuff.

With other "standard" project i get no error.

But my colleague with same W10 version can compile this project with no error.

Can't understand why, I've asked to the support but I dont' have a SISC so they are not going to give me support.

I had the same problem, but I think it's solved now. 😬 (it's working right now)

The problem was, when I in TIA13 SP2 Upd4, software compiled a HMI, and the tags was from a device proxy plc. I would get a "Internal ERROR ..... CONNECTION_HATCH" or TIA 13 would simply crash.

It was solved by installing Step7 V5.6 SP2 + HF7. 🙂
