Hi kee I can see no issue with your configuration as you describe. However always consult the compatibility matrix ( http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/21927773) and the Release Notes when designing a WinCC system. Regarding the networking, my guess is that you installed WinCC when logged onto your domain (the manual recommends against this). When you changed from domain to workgroup the group SIMATIC HMI got deleted as it was a domain group, not a local group. I always run WinCC in a workgroup and never have any issues so I can confirm that it will work [:D] You can now either: a) reinstall WinCC OR b)manually create the group SIMATIC HMI and assign users to it Regards, Salma |

Hi salma, The name of my workgroup must be "SIMATIC HMI", can it be "xxx something else"? regards Kee |
