Errors when compiling

When I compile my program I am getting 2 errors that I can use some assistance with. The first one is: ,The block cannot be compiled, since too many tags are used in the code. The function block in question has 4 networks, each with a 32 input MUX. The second one is: ,There are objects with ambiguous addresses in the program. When I double click on the error it takes me to the call structure of PLC_1 which has some highlighted data blocks. The highlighted data blocks all have the same address, DB9. I duplicated these data blocks by using the copy and paste commend in the project tree. I think this is where I went wrong. Since I will have multiple data blocks, all with the same format, I wanted to duplicate the one I already made. Is there a different way that I should do this? Or can I assign a different DB# to the copied DB's?

In this context, there were two blocks with same number (that is not enable)... could you place your project to us show it?

However, I cannot find where this is published in the manual. I attached a screen shot of the compile errors. This screen shot shows the call structure screen that comes up when I click on the error "There are objects with ambiguous addresses in the program.". I was able to reassign the DB address of all of the duplicate ones, as you can see from the screen shot. I do not know why DB2 is highlighted now. My battle with ambiguous addresses was where I created an FC or FB, and then copy/pasted it onto the project tree. After renumbering the pasted one to the next available FC/FB number, the ambiguous compilation error was gone. For duplicate data blocks, I have used them with some success, but you need to have code that prevents the data blocks from being used by seperate parts of your code during the same scan (cycle). I reuse DB's to save memory as I filled up the CPU memory by using one DB per FB call. I only call that FB once per scan so it was ok to do so, but I did need to ensure I didn't use static bits of data left over from the last FB call. If you want to make new ones, just rename the DB to a a DB name that doesn't exist, and it will prompt you to create a new one. You can also drag and drop the FB call into your logic. It will prompt for the new number. Sorry I can't help with a definite answeron the first problem as I haven't seen that. My best guess is to scale down the 4 networks into smaller networks and perhaps only decode / encode a byte at a time. ]

FB3 NW1 has open branches (see yellow highlight in attached screendump) 2.) FB1 NW4 has missing addresses (see greenhighlight in attached screendump) 3.) DB 2 exists twice in your program (once declared as Modbus Master DB and once declared as Modbus Slave DB, seeredhighlight in attached screendump). Number 1 & 2 are easily fixed. As for number 3 I'mnot too sure how you managed to end up with two DB's with the same number in your program but suggest you simply change one of them to a different number.
