Establish communications between 443-1EX20 and 414-3FM06

dmelliot Advanced Member Joined: 9/17/2008 Last visit: 1/21/2025 Posts: 49 Rating: (4)	All, I have two racks. One rack has a 414-3FM06 (no CP). The other rack has a 414-2XK05 and a 443-1EX20. The CPUs are not on a Profibus network. I am assuming i can establish communications between the 414-3FM06 and the 443-1EX20. What function do I use? and what setup do i add to the hardware configuration. I usually use UDP but i cannot do that since i do not have two CPs. any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Rated X Posts: 1547 Rating: (129)	Hi, you should use an S7 Connection and using the BSEND /BRCV function. For this you should configure both stations in same Project. The Functions are handling the connection establishment using the IP configuration of both stations.
