establish software redundancy between two CPU315-2PN/DP using CP342-5

Damayanti Bronze Member Joined: 10/17/2011 Last visit: 7/19/2022 Posts: 148 Rating: (3)	Dear Sir, I am trying to establish software redundancy between two CPU315-2PN/DP using CP342-5 I have attached my program backup. when downloaded program to both PLC, both cpu goes in SF and diagnosis shows " Area length error when writing instance DB, Bit access address292, requested OB, Program error OB121" VAT 1 of STATION1 gives DB5.DBW8 Status as 1000 0000 0010 0101 VAT 1 of STATION2 gives DB5.DBW8 Status as 1000 0000 0010 1001 ie redundancy link failure. i have used blocks from SWR_AGSEND_300 Please help. I have checked status word of both stations when A and B are healty and A as master and B as redundant. but problem is, when A is master, if I put it in STOP mode(switch on CPU at STOP) or I switch off the power supply of station A, then B is master but B shows SF and diagnosis shows"Area error when writing. Incorrect area ID48, requested OB, programming error OB, OB121" then I put station A in RUN, still B shows SF and B is master. Now, if I put B at STOP or switch off power supply of station B, then A becomes master but it doesn't give any error. Why station B has problem? Damayanti
