saeed Posts: 115 Rating: (1)	Dear Friends, I have a question about ET100U,Is it possible to configure this item in STEP7 for connecting to S7 system ?I didn't find the item in HW catalog.Is it necessary to install separate GSD for this Item? Thanks in Advance, Saeed

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Dear Saeed, I am sorry but ET 100 is a L1 Device. L1 as a Bussystem is not supported by STEP 7 or S7 anymore. If you have ET 200 U this would be a bit different because ET 200 is PROFIBUS and for PROFIBUS Slaves you will find the Suiteable GSD Files at: PROFIBUS GSD files : ET 200U Best regards J_Bell
