ET 200B-4AI and S7-1500

Gabe Posts: 21 Rating: (2)	I'm trying to read the inputs from an ET 200B-4AI (also 4AO) with an S7-1500 CPU but I can not figure out what address to use in the ladder logic. I have installed the appropriate GSD file (SIEM8019.GSE) and configured the device properly.It shows up as Distributed I/O in the TIA Portal and everything seems to look good. The next step is to create a Technology Object so that it is accessible from the ladder logic but this is where it fails. The only options are for Drives, PID or encoders. Nothing it seems for general AI. Can anyone help with this? Thank you Gabe Tosello

I inserted the ET200B in a test project, and by playing around i discovered that the default configuration creates the device as a block of consistent data. But it seems that you can change the configuration to access each channel individually. Have a look to the document in annex. In my opinion you can now access each channel as done ususally.
