Hi Experts, I'm not sure if people have come across this? Can you please advise how can I fit attached in 800*800*2000 panel (instisted by client). Mounting panel size is 699*1896 and another 160 mm will be taken by ducts. Is there any way? Regards, D

Hello dshha; This is how I understand your situation, tell me if it is correct: You are using a redundant ET 200M slave, connected to a S7-400H system, for remote IO on redundant Profibus-DP. For this configuration youmust use active bus modules to connect the IMs and IO modules on a special rack. This is the only way you can use 2 IM 153-2 in parallel for redundancy. You state that the rail provided is 2000 mm in length, this would have to be this part number: 6ES7195-1GC00-0XA0see the following link, with part numbers and descriptions of the redundant Et 200M racks and active bus modules: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/15346950/133200 If you are using this configuration, the power supplies are not integrated in active bus modules, so they could be removed from this rack, therefore allowing for a smaller installation footprint. The rack can be cut, as it only hold the active bus modules, and does not connect signals or power to the modules. Please confirm that this is the configuration you were planning to use. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
