ET 200S communication problem

kmsd Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	Dear all, I am having some communication problem with ET200S module( IM 150 standard). Intermittantaly it shows SF & BF leds blinking red andmachine stops.It gets resetted after power recyle.after that machine runs for say 10 to 12 hours and again stops with same fault.What could be the possible reason ?Is it related to some hardware failure or communication related problem. kindly advise. thanks in advance regards kmsd.

If you have a PG with a CP5611, you could ckeck the bus with the free tool Amprolyzer (using the function Bus status). Arunakat1 Posts: 217 Rating: (52)	Hello, Also check the hardware digenetic of the CPU. It’ll show why CPU gone to stop mode.Then it'll be easy to find where the problem occurs.

kmsd Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	Dear sir, I replaced cable with connector.Also checked grounding and power supply.Both seems to be OK. In this perticular case the CPU is not going in to stop mode.Only the Bus failure and system failure Leds on ET 200S module are blinking alternately.I tried changing ET 200S module it self.after changing the module the machine worked for 3 days and once again it tripped with above said symptoms. regards kmsd.

Arunakat1 Posts: 217 Rating: (52)	Dear kmsd, OK even your cpu do not go to stop mode let us see your online hardware diagnostics. It’ll give you very important massages. Also check weather large power cables are going near profi bus cable. I also experience a same kind of problem I had check every thing but hours of checking I found a big power cable is going near PB cable after correcting that only I get rid of BF and SF faults. Regards.

All will run well and then the data van will see a "not connected" to the pump and the SF and BF LED's are on and the module is in stop mode. We are using Profinet. i can not find any obvious reasons why it would drop out and I also do not have access to check any error codes...

Checolin66 Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hi: If you are using PROFINET, please check your IP and name assigned to your module and the same in your hardware configuration. They should match and the access could never be reached if you have differences. Best regards, Sergio
