ET200S Hardware Configuration

aru Advanced Member Joined: 2/26/2007 Last visit: 5/26/2023 Posts: 16 Rating: (1)	Dear Friends, I am using IM151-8 CPU with DP master module,Modbus Module and DI/DO Modules.Here I have attached the program back. I find out the following points when I downloaded the hardware configuration to the CPU. 1. When I Configure the CPU and DP module alone in Hardware configuration of the Simatic Manager, The CPU in RUN mode and working fine. 2. If I add at least one or two DI/DO Module along with the CPU I am getting IO error. 3. Even I configured the DI/DO module, still the netpro view is showing only CPU and DP module. 4. The IP address of the CPU is not retaining. Please do the needful to come out from this problems.The attached program back up can be opened by usingSimatic Manager V5.4 SP4 or later versiononly.I have already confirmed that the power supply module is working fine. I can't seem to find any DI/DO module(s) for IM151-8 PN/DP CPU. There are modules for DI and then you have different modules for DO. aru 3. Even I configured the DI/DO module, still the netpro view is showing only CPU and DP module. What else do you expect to see? Profinet? In NetPro, I am able to see both your Profibus AND Profinet network, so I can see it is there. Is your NetPro in general not showing Ethernet networks? aru 4. The IP address of the CPU is not retaining. Why are you not using a router in your Ethernet configuration? Try using one and see what happens. Hope this helps.

For Point No1 & 2: I removed the DP Module and Fixed the DI/DO Module directly with the CPU. Now the CPU in Run Mode and my configuration is working fine without DP Module. The faulty DP Module had been sent back to siemens. For Point No 3: I understood that, even DI/DO Modules are configured in CPU rack, We can see only CPU and CP in the netpro. For Point No 4: Once I copied the Blocks from RAMto ROM, The IP address of the CPU wasretaining. Regards, Aru.
