ET200S replacing older modules with new

Raythe54 Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Hello, I have an installation that is approximately 6 years old. While attempting to replinish our spares supply, I've found out many of our DI, DO, and PM-E 's for our ET200S racks have successor order numbers. Is there a way to find out if these will be drop in replacements or need a hardware config recompile/download? I ask because we're in an entertainment production situation, so if it's the latter I'll need to do an upgrade so drop in spares can be on the shelf in emergencies. Thanks, in advance, Ray

I'm wondering if there's a way to determine ahead of time if a hardware config change in the project is necessary, or if they can function as "drop in" replacements. Thanks, again, Ray
