ET200s with safety Input

Hello All,

I have got a CPU 317-F and a ET200s with safety input (4/8 FDI).

I have configured the module in the HW config and set dip-switches correct. (1oo1)

When I press the button (safety input) the led on the module iluminates like it should, but if I look in the VAT table the input is nog switching. Very strange

Does anyone know what could be the problem?

you must use minimum 1 Input from a FDI-Card in the F-part to see the state of an Input.

In total I have two inputs connected Input 0,4 (1oo2)

Both lights ilimunated both can't see them in the VAT table

Strange thing is that I also have a second card (4/8 FDI) and thse inputs can be monitored in a VAT table.

4 FDI configured also as 1oo2

you must use minimum 1 Input from a FDI-Card in the F-part to see the state of an Input.

I had a similar problem some time ago. If you don´t use one of the Inputs of the card in your Safety-Program, the F-Peripherial-DB won´t be loaded in the PLC and you can´t see the state on VAT table.
