ET200S with Sinamics v20 using Modbus RTU(1SI module)

Hi, I find that lot of people(even I am) are struggled with the communication between ET200s and v20 using Modbus 1SI module.So here Iam attached the working logic between these two. Points to Remember 1.Only FC3,FC6 and FC16 fuction codes are available in v20 drive 2.for FC3,FC6 default sending length is 6byte,where you have to enter in the send FB,but FC16 sending length varies depending upon the no of registers you want write.Entering wrong send byte length may lead to SF in CPU, throwing Area Lengh Error. 3.During Configuring Hardware of 1SI module select the below options: Receive Line Initial State: Inverted Level Operating Mode :Normal Operation Data Rate :9600 Parity :even stop bits :1 Response time :2000ms 4.Check these parameters in v20 r2024:valid/accepted telegrams r2025:invalid telegrams r2026:frame length error Refer v20 manual for more diagnostic parameters under modbus communication section.
