What do you mean. Are you saying you would only have an Interface Module and nothing else |

Just a minor correction to start with: The "end module" (terminator) comes with the IM (not with the power module) As for grey_m question, I have a felling he wants to leave spare slotsin his ET200S and NOT yet plug in all electonics module in which case the short answer is: It depends on the location of his reserve modules. Below is basically an (edited) excerpt from the ET200S operating instructions which hopefully explains it all, the manual can be downloaded here: Option handling with RESERVE modules (I believe this is what gre_m intends to achieve) This means that the ET 200S can be completely prewired ("master cabling") since the RESERVE module is not connected to the terminal module terminals and therefore not to the process. The RESERVE modules for future expansions at the right-hand end of the station do not have to be mounted. In this case, preparatory installation and wiring are possible but not a prerequisite.
