ET200SP AI WITH DISTANCE SENSOR OF SICK DT35

I have an issue with the analog input wiring of 6ES7134-6gB00-0ba1 and its not giving any value ..only 32767 is coming

I m having sick sensor DT35 and wants to connect to ET200sp Analog 2AI module

1) Should i connect in 4 wire?

2) If its 4 wire then what all terminals should be connected of PLC to sensor

I tried this -----  I1+ to Qa, 2M1 to M of Sensor with M of external power supply and L of sensor to external 24vdc

Is this correct..

Please clarify what is the correct wiring

hi Vishakha,

yes it should work in this way. You can also try to bridge 2M1 with I1-.

Don´t forget to set the Output-behavior of Q2.

1) I tried bridging 2M1 with I1- also but no change ..the value still remains 32767.

2) Output behavior of Q2 has been set by the  customer as per required.

Still I doubt may be there's something missing on sensor side only but what it can be not sure

It is a four wire sensor. It also has some setup, I would check that.

 Can u please explain what set up need to be done..

For my understanding 

output type of Q2 has only to be selected ..other than that what is required.

Also how its four wire as the signals are L, M, Q2, Q1 , MF where  L , M and Q2 are only for analog ..Q1 is a digital output so which makes it a three wire connection..Any thing else is there which has to be taken care of.

I beleave the input of the card is a 0-10v by default. So you'll need to set the sensor for that behavior: From the Quick start guide on there web site:

I would just give it power and then test ground lead of meter to Q1 and Red lead on meter to Q2 - should give 0-10v of distance from sensor. (after the sensor is setup to be a analog out)

Thanks for your suggestion and help, but the distance sensor has been already set to 4-20 mA(which we actually need)  so where exactly is the problem, we are not getting.

Then it sounds like you need a 500 ohm resistor across the input to convert 20ma to 10V. Or if configurable. Change the input to current in the hardware config.

Why we should convert to 10v ..we dont need voltage output .

The output of Sensor is set to 4-20 mA and even in PLC its 4-20mA. configured..every setting is correct still its not showing correct values.

is there anything related to base unit selection???

We are using 4 wire connection and the base unit is 6es7193-6bp00-0ba0 so is it correct as i have doubt 4 wire need seperate base unit 6es7193-6bp20-0da0.

Please clarify
