ET200SP, error 7000

Hi,

I tried to figure it out from the example project, but no mentioned functions are directly used in it.

I am using explicitly MODBUS_COMM_LOAD and MODBUS_MASTER, while in the sample project, there are some SCL code functions that use lower level communication functions, implemented in different way.

Here is what I have done:

in OB100, I set:

-COM_RST for MODBUS_COMM_LOAD

-COM_RST for MODBUS_MASTER

Then, in main program OB1 I

-wait for both COM_RST to be back to 0

-then activate REQ for MODBUS_COMM_LOAD

-wait for DONE for MODBUS_COMM_LOAD

-start MODBUS_MASTER in cyclic mode, forever.

Is this procedure correct?

Dear Experts,

I am also facing same problem with ET200SP (Modbus as Master) connected with S7-400 H system. 

For me, I didnt even get DONE for MODBUS_COMM_LOAD. I am getting error 7000.

please give some suggessions or any sample program for ET200SP in S7300/400 system.

maybe I do it wrong but 7000 is not an error code, it means function not activ.

Please look in the manual of ET200SP

ET200SP as modbus master with FB640 and FB641 is working now.

Error 7000 came, because,  we need to add FB611, FB612, FB613, FB614 & FB617 to rectify it. If we didnt add means, we will get "area access error" in CPU diagnostics and block will not be enabled. Got this block in P2P communication in this link here are the blocks for STEP7 V5.5

In addition to that, we need to enter actual baud rate (9600 in my case) in FB640. I had entered value 6 (for 9600 baud rate)  as in manual. 

Now, modbus is working fine.

could you please share the backup. i m stuck up with the same problem with cp341 as slave.

using s7-1200 as master in which i got the done bit. but here i doesn't work
