Something which I can't find anywhere in any documentation is:How often is the dark test performed?

The duration is just 1 ms, that's ok, but how often? Every minute, hour, day?

Our system has some failures which we can't put our finger on. It could be caused by the dark test, but we don't know. Currently we can't do any software modifications so we can like increase the test time to like 10 seconds to be able to verify that this could be the issue, so therefor the question here on the forum.
