ET200SP Open Controller and Siwarex WP321

Hi, I try add the control block (WP321DR FB321) of the Siwarex WP321 in the program of the ET200SP Open Controller, but I get an error when compiling: "know how protection was setup on a different CPU family." and that "The block can only be compiled with a valid password."

I am using the latest Siwarex WP321 example for the block WP321DR. Is there any solution?

There are multiple versions according to CPU and TIA version or STEP classic.

LibraryTIA Portal

TIA Portal V13 SP1 UPD9 and V14 SP1 global block library with all available WP321 function blocks.
ATTENTION: It’s important to choose the right project/library relating to the CPU firmware version!

I have just re-checked both the ready to use project and the library blocks for V14 SP1 and 1500 CPU v2.x.

They both produce the same problem with the ET200SP Open Controller CPU. I think there must be something wrong with compatibility.

Will ask siemens support and post feedback.

After communication with support, it seems that if a compile software (rebuild all) is performed, I get the error message and afterwards whichever compile is performed the error remains.

On the other hand, if a compile software (changes only) is performed, then there is no error.

As a workaround for the time being, I keep a copy of the project with the block.

If I need to perform a compile rebuild all, after that, I replace the block and perform a compile (changes only) which gives no error.

I haven't any ET200SP Open Controller CPU at the moment to try to download to check any other issues.
