ET200SP Open Controller vs S7-1518-4 ODK

Hey Guys,

I'm trying to understand the difference between these two options: ET 200SP Open Controller and S7-1518-4 ODK .

It looks to me that the ET 200SP is basically an industrial PC in ET200SP form factor running a soft PLC w/ the open controller package, however the S7-1518-4 is still a dediated PLC however it has the open controller package as well.  Is this generally a correct understanding.  Are they the same open package?

Specifically, I'm interested in the Matlab coder package (shown here, I think?) which seems to utilize the open controller (at least for the ET 200SP).  Is the Matlab package shown taking advantage of the same open controller package in these two controllers?
